Security
Block repeat fraud at checkout — disposable emails, IPs, domains, full addresses, and phone numbers. Each list works on its own.
Overview
Security brings your fraud controls into one place. Turn disposable email detection on or off, then manage four independent blocklists: IP addresses, email domains, full email addresses, and phone numbers.
Open it from Settings → Security. Each list works on its own — blocking a domain does not block its IP, and turning off disposable detection does not remove your manual blocks.
Fake Email Detection
At the top of the page, Block disposable email addresses stops known throwaway inboxes at checkout and customer registration. It is on by default.
Switch it off if you need to allow those addresses temporarily. Click Save after changing the toggle. Your manual email and domain blocks still apply either way.
Blocklists
Each section lets you add an entry and shows what you have already blocked:
- Blocked IP addresses — stop one internet address from checking out.
- Blocked email domains — stop every address at a domain, like
@bigsurv.ca. - Blocked email addresses — stop one inbox without blocking the rest of its domain.
- Blocked phone numbers — stop one number from checking out or registering.
Use Search blocklists to filter all four lists at once. Open an entry to see its orders, or unblock it from the list or detail page.
You can also block straight from an order — use Block email, Block @domain, Block phone, or Block this IP on the order page.
Tips
Block sparingly. IPs and phone numbers can be shared or reused. Block when you see a clear repeat pattern — not as a substitute for banning one customer, who may return with different contact details.

Go to Settings → Security. The page has a toggle for disposable email detection at the top, then separate sections for blocked IP addresses, email domains, full email addresses, and phone numbers.

On Settings → Security, switch off Block disposable email addresses and click Save. Your manual email and domain blocks still apply.
How do I block an IP address in DabDash?
On Settings → Security, scroll to Blocked IP addresses, enter the IP, add an optional reason, and click Block IP. You can also block an IP from an order.
How do I block an email domain or full address?
On Settings → Security, use Blocked email domains to stop every address at a domain (for example @bigsurv.ca), or Blocked email addresses to stop one specific inbox without blocking the whole domain.

On Settings → Security, scroll to Blocked phone numbers, enter the number, add an optional reason, and click Block phone. You can also block a phone number from an order.
