Paying with Crypto
How to pay for a DabDash order in crypto — choosing a network, sending the exact amount to the address shown, and watching the order confirm on-screen.

Overview
Most stores take cash on delivery — you pay the driver when your order arrives. Some stores also offer crypto as an optional alternative, so you can pay for your order ahead of time from your own wallet instead of paying cash at the door.
Crypto is only available if the store you're ordering from has turned it on. If you see a Pay with Crypto option at checkout, it's available for that store. If you don't see it, the store is cash on delivery only — which is perfectly normal.
Paying with crypto is straightforward: you choose it at checkout, send the exact amount shown to the address on the confirmation page, and the page updates on its own as your payment confirms. You never have to refresh or send anything twice.
Choosing Crypto at Checkout
At checkout, select Pay with Crypto. You'll then choose which network you want to pay with. The exact list depends on what the store has enabled, but it may include:
- USDT or USDC on Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, or Ethereum
- USDT on Tron
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Litecoin (LTC)
Pick the network that matches the wallet you'll be paying from. It's important that the coin and network you send match what you selected — for example, if you choose USDT on Polygon, send USDT on the Polygon network from your wallet.
Once you place the order, you're taken to a confirmation page with everything you need to send your payment.
Sending Your Payment
After you place the order, the confirmation page shows three things you need:
- The exact amount
- The precise amount to send, in the coin you chose. Send this amount exactly — not rounded up or down — so your payment matches the order.
- The receiving address
- The wallet address to send to. Tap the copy button next to it to copy the address rather than typing it by hand, which avoids mistakes.
- A quote expiry
- A short countdown showing how long the quoted amount is valid. Send your payment before it runs out so the amount you send still matches the order.
Open your own wallet app, paste in the copied address, enter the exact amount, double-check you're on the right network, and send. That's all you need to do — the rest happens on its own.
Watching It Confirm
Once you've sent your payment, leave the confirmation page open. The order watches the blockchain for your payment and updates the status on its own — there's no need to refresh the page or do anything else.

You'll see the status move through three stages on its own:
- Awaiting — waiting for your payment to be sent.
- Detected — your payment has been spotted and is being confirmed on the network.
- Confirmed — your payment is fully confirmed and your order is on its way.
Tips
- Send the exact amount. An amount that's even slightly off can delay your order — send exactly what the page shows.
- Beat the quote expiry. Send your payment before the countdown ends so the amount still matches your order.
- Use the copy button for the address instead of typing it. Crypto addresses are long and one wrong character sends to the wrong place.
- Match the network. Send the same coin and network you chose at checkout — sending on a different network can mean the payment isn't seen.
- Keep the page open after sending. It updates from Awaiting to Detected to Confirmed by itself — no refresh needed.
