Blocked IPs

Stop a specific IP address from placing orders on your store. Block addresses tied to fraud or abuse, review the list, and unblock when needed.

Overview

Blocked IPs let you stop a specific internet address from placing orders on your store. It is the tool to reach for when the same address keeps sending fake or fraudulent orders — block it once and those orders stop.

Open it from Settings → Blocked IPs. The page has two parts: a box to block a new address, and a searchable list of everything you have already blocked.

Blocking an Address

In the Block an IP address box:

  1. Type the IP address — for example 203.0.113.42.
  2. Add an optional reason so you remember why later — e.g. Fraud, Abuse, or Blacklisted.
  3. Click Block.

That address can no longer complete checkout on your store. You can also block an address straight from an order — handy when you spot a bad order and want to stop the next one from the same place.

Reviewing & Unblocking

The Blocked addresses list shows every IP you have blocked, with its reason and when it was added. Use the Search box to find an address or reason quickly when the list grows.

To lift a block, open the address from the list and remove it. The address can place orders again immediately.

Block sparingly. An IP address can be shared by many people (a building, a café, a mobile network) and can change over time. Block an address to stop a clear pattern of bad orders — not as a way to ban one customer, who may return on a different address.
